Each year, Assistance League of Downey awards $1,000 scholarships to graduating Downey Unified School District high school seniors who have demonstrated outstanding volunteerism in their community.
Scholarships can be applied toward tuition, books, and other school-related expenses at an accredited post-secondary program.
